Trust Levels on MoyoWangu

At MoyoWangu, we want members to meet with confidence, honesty, and intention.

That is why we use Trust Levels.

Trust Levels help you understand how much of a member’s profile, contact details, and identity have been verified. They also help you choose the level of verification you are comfortable with when receiving matches.

What are Trust Levels?

A Trust Level is a simple rating from Level 1 to Level 5.

The higher the level, the more verification the member has completed.

Trust Levels are not about judging people. They are there to help everyone make informed choices about who they want to connect with.


Level 1 — Profile Started

This means the member has started their profile but has not yet completed all the required information.

They may still need to add more details, upload photos, or complete verification steps before becoming fully active.


Level 2 — Profile Complete

This means the member has completed their profile and added at least two profile photos.

At this level, the member has provided the basic information needed for matchmaking.


Level 3 — Contact Verified

This means the member has completed their profile and verified their email address and WhatsApp number.

This helps reduce fake or throwaway profiles and gives members more confidence that the person is reachable through verified contact details.


Level 4 — ID Verified

This means the member has verified their identity document and legal names.

This gives an extra level of confidence that the person behind the profile is connected to a verified identity.

Your private ID details are not shown publicly.


Level 5 — Fully Verified

This is the highest Trust Level.

It means the member has completed profile verification, contact verification, ID verification, and VeriQoCheck liveness verification.

This helps confirm that the person is real, present, and connected to the verified identity.


Choosing who you want to match with

You can choose the lowest Trust Level you are comfortable receiving matches from.

For example, you may choose to match only with people who have completed their profile, or you may choose to match only with people who have verified their contact details, ID, or liveness.

There is one important fairness rule:

You can only select a Trust Level up to your own current Trust Level.

For example, if you are currently Level 3, you can choose to match with Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 members. To choose Level 4 or Level 5 matches, you will need to complete those verification steps yourself first.

Why this rule exists

This keeps MoyoWangu fair.

It would not be right for someone with an incomplete or unverified profile to demand matches from members who have completed higher levels of verification.

The more verification you complete, the more control you have over the Trust Level of the people you are matched with.


Your privacy is protected

Trust Levels show the type of verification completed, not your private information.

We do not publicly show your:

  • Legal name

  • ID number

  • ID document

  • Email address

  • WhatsApp number

  • Liveness images or videos

Other members may see a simple trust badge such as:

Level 3 — Contact Verified

or

Level 5 — Fully Verified

How to improve your Trust Level

You can increase your Trust Level by completing more verification steps.

Start by completing your profile and uploading your photos. Then verify your email and WhatsApp number. For higher levels, you can verify your ID and complete VeriQoCheck liveness verification.

The more you complete, the stronger your Trust Level becomes.
